One of Nepal’s most scenic Himalayan journeys, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek takes you deep into the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, surrounded by some of the world’s highest mountains.
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a 7–14 day Himalayan adventure that blends dramatic mountain scenery with authentic Gurung village culture. You’ll walk through rhododendron forests, bamboo groves, alpine meadows, and glacial valleys before reaching Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 meters.
From the base camp, enjoy a breathtaking 360° amphitheater of peaks including Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and Machhapuchhare (Fishtail).
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a moderate to challenging trek suitable for trekkers with good fitness levels. Anyone who can comfortably jog for 30 minutes can prepare for this trek with 4–6 weeks of training.
Trekkers should begin preparing their bodies at least six weeks before the trek. Focus on stamina-building and strength training exercises such as long walks, uphill climbs, and trekking with a weighted backpack.
Due to the high altitude, trekkers may feel altitude sickness. In case of emergencies, trekkers can exit the trek via helicopters. This is a safety measure we take seriously to ensure your well-being.
